Bradford & Airedale

Carillion has helped to improve and expand primary and social care in Yorkshire by playing a key role in the delivery of design, project management and construction services for Bradford and Airedale NHS LIFT.

This new local community health facility provides three GP surgeries, a 10-chair dental suite, independent pharmacy, 18-bed community hospital and support accommodation for local residents.

The £50m scheme provides easier access to community services, such as podiatry, speech and language therapy and community dentistry, as well as community nursing and rehabilitation facilities.

We worked closely with Accent Partnerships to successfully identify and procure suitable sites, develop schemes to financial close and provide project programming, as part of a long-term strategy to provide a whole range of health and social services.
