New managing director for Carillion Building

Support services and construction company Carillion, has appointed David Liming as its new managing director of Carillion Building.
David takes over from Tony Lenehan who now moves within the organisation to become managing director of Carillion Integrated Services (CIS), a new business unit focusing on the growth sectors of Defence, Education and Regeneration.
Prior to joining Carillion in January 2006, David was managing director of Mowlem’s Special Projects Business and a board member of the Construction Services Division. After training as a civil engineer, he switched to the building environment 23 years ago, joining John Mowlem as a project engineer and working his way up the building project management route, before taking responsibility for Mowlem’s London and South East Division in 1996.
David has an MICE background, along with a Civil Engineering Honours Degree from Imperial College, and an MBA from Cranfield.
